What to expect
Appointments
When you request an appointment, I will get back to you within 24 hours to schedule. Next day appointments are usually available. After you are scheduled, I will email you forms to fill out which you can print out and email back to me or give to me at our first session.
During our first session, I will be collecting a lot of information from you and, depending on what you are needing, will test different muscles for strength, see how much motion you have in different joints, look at how you are walking, and perform balance and other special tests that help assess where your issues are coming from. From this information, we will work together to come up with goals for us to work toward during your time in PT.
You tell me what you want to get out of PT and I will tell you how we will get there!
After the first session, most patients will be seen 1 or 2 times per week until your have met your therapy goals at which point you will have graduated from PT with a plan to maintain the all the abilities you have gained.
